PHOTOS OF THE AIRFIELDS IN ARUBA
The first photos are of the Aruba Flying Club airfield on the east end of the island.
In the photo below you can see the little run way that was used by the little airplanes.  The plane from which these photos were taken will land there. It does not look like much of a runway. The planes came in over the road flying towards the sea and the prevailing wind and touched down just as they cleared the road. It is also the runway where the DC-3 landed just after World War II.
The next photos is the same without the words.
Here in the next photo I tried to show more clearly where the run was was and the hangers and Club house.
