This is the photo album sold today on EBay and I was the lucky one who got it.  As soon as I receive the album, probably 10 day or two weeks, I will do a quick scan of all the pages and then send it on to Stan Norcom who has volunteered to do a "good" scan and then "clean up" the photos so we can post them on the web.  Keep an eye out for this to happen, you will see photos from the '30's and the '40's.  If a family member is interested in the album please let me know, if not the American School in Aruba has shown an interest.

25 Years of Refining at Lago   A booklet published by Lago Oil & Transport Co. PAN-O-RAM ANNUALS   All the Pan-O-Ram Annuals have been re-scanned so Adobe Reader can now recognize the text.  This means you can search the test as well as copy and paste the text.  Some issues worked better then others, it depended on the font that was used when published.  I am sorry they all did not work, but technology being what it is, I think this is an improvement for searching for information

SHEET MUSIC FROM ARUBA  Hand printed sheet music, given to me by Bill Moyer at the 2007 Oklahoma City Lago Reunion.  It was transcribed in 1952 by Maria Croes of Savaneta, the wife of "Pat" Croes who worked for Lago.

HANNA GREGERSEN   Hanne visited Aruba and traveled by tanker from Denmark in 1949.  She had family living in Lago Colony and went to stay with them for a couple of months. Hanne visited Aruba in 1949.  The photos Hanne sent me were taken by Jens Damkier, her uncle, in the 1930's.

ESSO DIRECTORY 1948  Added a refinery/colony telephone & bungalow directory.  The directory shows all of the telephone numbers in the refinery as well as the names of occupants of the Bungalows, Bachelor Quarters, Nursing Home, Girls Dorm and Colorado Point Apartments.  This directory was submitted by Fay (Cross) Keene.

COOKBOOK  Added a cook book that was produced by the ladies of the Colony, probably during World War II.  This cookbook was also submitted by Kay (Cross) Keene.

FAY (CROSS) KEENE SCRAPBOOK   These are photos submitted by Fay taken in Aruba before and during the war.  There are some great group photos of the men who designed and built the refinery.
