ARUBA GOLD
A STORY

I wrote this story in 1992 while living in Kings Bay, Georgia. This was my first attempt at writing and it did not come easy and is not that good, I am not a student of the English language.

In the story I tried to bring together some of the groups of people I had known while living in Aruba as a youth. For each group I created a “character” that more or less represented that group.

I self published 100 copies and gave them to friends. I was not happy with the type set I used in the first printing so when I decided to print another 100 because of request for the book I changed the font from New Times Roman to Arial.
After establishing the web site I have retyped, (I lost the original copy off a computer when it crashed), the story and it is now on the web site under STORIES on the left had link bar.

I hope you find time to read it and enjoy it.
